My reflection for this week has to do with working on my ComS 227 lab. Our task was to create a program that drew 5 random cards from a deck. The basic algorithm to do so was given to us, however, I found it semi-confusing and overly complex, so I decided to come up with another way to do it that was much simpler. One of my favorite things about programming is that there are so many ways to accomplish one thing, and with a little creativity, you can come up with a new way of doing something.
Now that I know how to randomly select cards from a deck, I am thinking about working on a solitaire game!
