My Kind of Creativity

When people hear the word "creative," they often think of drawings, paintings and other works of art. I've always be jealous of the people who could create master pieces and I looked up to them as the creative minds of the world. In my life, creativity is a little more simple.  My favorite form of creativity is coming up with new espresso drinks. I know it sounds kind of odd, but all through high school I worked as a barista in a small coffee shop. All the time I spent studying at Caribou this week made me really miss my job. I loved mixing different flavors and syrups to make a new drink. One of my favorite creations was a green tea lemonade smoothie I whipped up one hot summer day. It may not be your typical master piece, but it is now featured on the menu and that's kind of extraordinary to me! I think I'm going to start looking for a part time job in a coffee shop this summer just for fun!
