Skill vs. Challenge

This week's in class activities were somewhat stressful for me. The speed math section was by far the lowest for my skills and the highest in challenge strength for me. It also made me realize that I really need to review my multiplication tables:/ I realized that I really don't like being times on tasks. I prefer to thoroughly think through the problem I'm presented with and come up with the best possible answer. It was interesting to see how varied the dots on the graph became after the first few activities. It made me feel better to see that other people felt some of the tasks were relatively challenging for their skill level. I'm really bummed I didn't figure out the riddle in the final activity. I really enjoy riddles and was hoping that I would finally be able to contribute to my team and earn us some points. Overall, the activities paired with the discussion about problem solving strategies was helpful in finding new ways to approach a problem and look for the right steps to solve it.
